Statues

A superb collection of 27 statues in Canon Carrara marble has enlivened the French parterres since the ^18th century! Numerous mythological figures are represented: deities linked to water, such as Amphithrite and her dolphin, or to the seasons (Flora, Vertume).

Roman emperors can also be recognized: old Caesar on one side of the castle, young Caesar on the other. You can also meet Hercules, Diana, Hermes and smiling characters from the Italian Comedy.
