Château de Canon
First built on one level in 1728, the château was then raised in 1768 when the Elie de Beaumont family reclaimed the property after a long legal battle.
Externally, the harmony of proportions, elegant trophy falls and Italian-style balustrade attest to the refinement of the owners. Inside, the intimate volumes reflect the desire at the time to live as if in a “country house”, with eyes riveted on the surrounding nature set off by the gardens.
The château retains its original layout, fine furnishings and moving memories of the Fête des Bonnes Gens.
The patina of the centuries and the soul of a family home lend a special charm to the place.
